Revelaed today  by DC Comics, here is the new design for the Unknown Soldier from G.I. Combat #1! Part of the second wave of the New 52, G.I. Combat will feature the Unknown Soldier in backup stories written by superstar team Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, with art by Dan Panosian.

G.I. Combat #1 ships in May, and is available now for pre-order by calling the store!

There's not much to say here, as someone more eloquent than myself will be able to proclaim it with far more effective speech than I can. All I can say is that one of the most influential and creative people to have ever graced the world with his talents has passed away. And that makes me incredibly, undeniably sad.
