As a fan of all things Star Wars, we hold a pretty high opinion of the good folks as Hasbro.

AMC announced today the renewal of “The Walking Dead” for a third season.

Personally, I can think of a few things I could get done in 12 days. Play through Arkham City. Drive up to Michigan, visit my family, drive back. Spend a week in Ireland with my mom. 

But shoot a movie? No way. That's impossible. Not going to happen.

Wait...Whedon did it? And its a Shakespeare piece?

Hello fans and friends, as we approach the holidays, it's important to remember not only our families and friends, but those in our community who don't have an opportunity to provide to their family a holiday meal. At Acme, we feel the responsibility to work with our customers and subscribers to hold a canned and non-perishable food drive to help our community.

We'll have facepainting by the always delightful Lori from Funtastic Facepainting from 3PM - 7PM.

One of our favorite creators, Christian Slade will be signing Korgi vol. 3 from 5PM - 8PM.

Halloween festivities will kick off at 5PM and run until the store closes at 8.

People in costumes, facepainting, treats for kids, and refreshments will be available while supplies last.

Mark Millar (Kick-Ass), Matthew Vaughn (Director of Motion Picture adaptation of Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class) and Dave Gibbons (artist of Watchmen) are teaming up to release Secret Service in early 2012.

This week, Marvel is releasing teaser images of the upcoming landmark 600th issue of Fantastic Four. We'll be capturing the images here to show you what comics First Family will be up against!

One of the greatest teams in the history of comics and one of the greatest creative teams in the history of comics are uniting in 2012! Brian Michael Bendis - writer of Powers, New Avengers, and The Avengers - and Mark Bagley - artist on Justice League, Thunderbolts and Ultimate Spider-Man - are launching a brand new Avengers series in March of 2012 featuring the cast of the Avengers movie, directed by Joss Whedon.



While this book will feature the cast of the upcoming feature film, the team is being 'assembled' in such a way that it will feel organic. From an interview with CBR, Bendis said " made it clear to me that if I didn't have something it was okay and they would approach other people, but I did have something. And that was also right around the time that Bagley made it clear that he'd like a crack at the Avengers. I was approached about this book literally a week after he told me that, so I quickly said yes."

This November 11th, the Animated DCU takes a step into the realm of CG animation with the premier of Green Lantern The Animated Series! Featuring - of course - the Green Lantern corps, the first season is said to feature the avatars of Rage, the Red Lanterns, as the villains!
